Karlito Miller-Espinosa and Jamie Kimak


Both graduates from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)where they studied painting and fiber arts respectively. There, they developed a collaborative process that merged the two mediums together and developed an appreciation for public art. Karlito currently lives in Brooklyn where he paints murals and exhibits his drawings, prints, and paintings. Jamie currently resides in Rockland County, where she was born. Having lived and explored the area throughout her life, she has a personal connection to the Hudson River Valley community, which continues to influence her creative development. Her work is primarily textile based, however, she also creates drawings and collages. She has worked extensively as a graphic designer, illustrator, and art director for apparel companies.
