BFA in Printmaking/Art of the Book from SUNY Purchase, 2012

RoseEllen has exhibited work in MoMA PS1 NY Art Book Fair (2011, 2012), Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn, Ode de Leslie Nielsen and Bruler Les Livres (a collection of experimental artist books 2011,2012), Purchase Prints (2011, 2012), RoseEllen Sarfaty Celtic Mythology (solo exhibition 2012), the permanent collection at WCC, repeated exhibits held at Jacob Burns Film Center, and is published in Nous Avons Bon Gout (Purchase College Center for Editions 2011).

RoseEllen’s preferred medium is printmaking, particularly copperplate etching and woodblock/paper-making. She also enjoys drawing, mural painting, and painting in watercolor, acrylic and oil paints. Her inspiration is drawn from many different sources including nature, the human body and mythology. The inspiration for this print was drawn from different landscapes around Hudson Valley.
